A deposit holds your place in the build queue and locks today's quoted pricing — credited dollar-for-dollar toward your 50% down at signing. It pays for your discovery consultation and a written proposal for your project, delivered either way.

Commerce builds (scheduling + payments collected on your website) reserve with $2,500; standard business sites with $500. Same terms either way.

Your current setup

Locked out of your old site, email, or stuck with a web company that won't hand over access? Happens all the time, and it doesn't stop us. We build your new site on infrastructure you'll own outright, so we don't need your old logins to get you live. The one thing that matters is your domain name. If you control it, perfect. If it's tangled up with a past provider, we'll either help you reclaim it or get you live on a fresh domain and redirect everything to it. Your deposit covers the consultation, plan, and new build, none of which depend on anyone else cooperating.

I have read and agree to The Shipping Place — Web Design's Terms & Conditions, including the Deposit section. I understand and agree that the $2,500.00 deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances once paid — including cancellation, postponement, change of plans, or non-attendance. I understand this is a non-refundable deposit for the consultation and written proposal — services delivered whether or not I proceed to a final engagement — and that the full $2,500.00 is deducted from (paid toward) the final amount of my project or order if I proceed within twelve (12) months. I understand that The Shipping Place builds my new website on independent infrastructure that I will own, and does not require access to my existing website, hosting, or accounts in order to deliver. I understand that connecting an existing domain name may require actions only I or my current provider can perform, that The Shipping Place will provide a new-domain alternative if that access cannot be obtained, and that this deposit is fully earned and NON-REFUNDABLE because it pays for consultation, planning, and build work delivered regardless of any third party's cooperation.
